About Myles J. Martin
Myles Martin is a Lighting Designer, Technician, and Programmer from the Philadelphia area. He recently graduated from West Chester University with a B.A. in Theatre Production and Design. During his time at the university he has done several award-winning lighting designs including the 19th Annual BC/EFA Benefit Concert and the Fall 2019 production of Macbeth. His work has been recognized by the Regional and National Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival where he was awarded the Theatrical Design and Excellence award for Lighting Design as well as the Don Childs Award for Cross Discipline Collaboration.
He has also designed and teched the lighting for local schools and companies including a high school production of Legally Blonde and the Opus 1 dance concert at Uptown Performing Arts Center in West Chester. Since graduating, Myles has worked as the Assistant Technical Director for a musical theatre summer camp where he teched, designed, programmed and operated the lights; as well as, acted as Properties Master, and Carpenter for their production of Anything Goes. In his own time, he practices his skill set with the GrandMA line of consoles to better himself in the live event and concert lighting industry.
